Hackescher Markt / Hackesche Höfe

The Hackescher Markt is the creative center of the capital and is located between Alexanderplatz and Friedrichstrasse. The transformation of Hackescher Markt began right after the fall of the Berlin Wall, when numerous creative artists and fashion designers shaped Hackescher Markt into a creative place in the city. Immediately after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Hackesche Höfe were also extensively renovated, which to this day are home to numerous workshops in the fields of fashion, design, jewellery, art and culture. Numerous gastronomic facilities have also settled here.
